I have Bachelors degree in Economics with a lot of business background. In 2011 I opened up a cleaning business named Cleanup Xperts LLC I was a subcontractor for Marriot and Hilton Hotels as well as doing post construction cleanings for big apartment building and hotels in 2020 of March 9th in New Jersey state governor shut down all Hotels In our state for 6 months at that time I was 6 months pregnant and that combination made it very hard to go back to that business and restart something i worked for 11 years especially with a newborn. Currently working as an accountant and doing small side jobs for cleaning in post construction. Finished license for tattooing, opened up small tattoo shop did not work out not enough money in that business for me as a beginner. Since I have a 2 year old son I need more freedom and flexibility, running hotels is very stressful and busy. My current office job pays well and gives me lots of flexibility but its not a forever thing my boss is very old I need to start looking towards future security. I heard lots of good things about QA profession I also always wanted to learn more about computers. there are a lots working from home opportunities, travel jobs and flexibility which fits perfectly into my lifestyle I have now. I see my self in future finding a job in QA moving to another state and contiuing my education in coding.

- I have incompleted my bachelor's electrification and automatization degree, but have completed my Maintenance, support and repair of electromechanical equipment technician degree.
- In common sense I'm electrician over 14 years and artificial lift field specialist in lukoil over 12 years. Due to last challenges and changing location got a survival job as an industrial electrician.
- Expecting result of eventual career development as electrician isn't worth strengths to reach it for now.
- QA because it seems possible for me in this point, i always wanted to try, location independence of the job is also important. Fast start, higher average salary rates. Clear perspectives.
- High skilled middle specialist.

I have a non-finished associate's degree. My only work experience has been voluenteer work at a soup kitchen and game development with a friend. Since I don't have a stable income source or a finished degree, I think QA Testing would be a perfect fit for me cause of my technical knowledge with computers and programming. I see myself being successful in 5 years hopefully getting in a place in life where I am satisfied.

Hello! My name is Dima. I graduated from university with a degree in "Computer Systems and Networking".
My first work experience was as a computer engineer in a parts and installation software computer service for 2 years. Then I opened an auto service for installing and servicing liquefied gas equipment, which helped thousands of customers stay satisfied and save money on fuel for 5 years. Due to the war, I had to leave the auto service and move to another city. I decided to try my hand at wholesaling liquefied gas equipment, which occupied 20% of the market in my region for 6 years.
My life has always been about troubleshooting electronic devices and communicating with people. I think QA can combine these things perfectly.
In five years I see myself as a Senior QA Automation Engineer.Last edited by Dima_A; 04-10-2023, 07:57 AM.

I have always loved engineering and technology, so I studied at the academy as an energy engineer, which enabled me to learn the design of refrigeration systems and mechanisms. I worked in one of the leading companies in producing meat products, and I became the chief mechanic at a company, where I acquired the skills of work planning and strategy for several years ahead. But for now, I am ready for changes and new challenges.
Why QA? I chose the profession of QA because it allows me to ensure high-quality software and help meet the needs of users. I also enjoy the testing process, which involves understanding user requirements, exploring program effectiveness, and identifying and fixing errors. I believe that thorough testing helps to reduce the number of errors in software and provides a better quality product for users.
I see myself professionally in five years as an experienced software tester with a high level of skills in testing and automation. I will actively improve my skills and knowledge, share my experience with colleagues, and participate in professional communities. My goals are to hold a position as a middle or senior QA, be an expert in my field, and help develop projects and teams. I also want to learn how to manage projects and lead teams to become an even more valuable expert for my company.Last edited by StanislavRak; 03-25-2023, 06:05 AM.

Hello!
My name is Mariia Kiseleva. I have a bachelor's degree in Linguistics (Theory and Practice of Intercultural Relations), main language - english.
I worked in a retail industry - specifically with electronics - and now I'd like to jump into the IT industry. I never had an option like this before but since I've managed to leave Russia (now I live near LA) it feels like a new start to me.
I always had an interest in testing something, searching for a root of a problem and solving it. Especially, wneh it comes to the gaming industry (considering a fact that I'm familiar with it since my childhood). And I do care about people's opinions on different products and their quality.
Professionally, I see myself in 5 years somewhere in a gaming department of a big company as a tech specialist (preferrably - a team lead, of course).
