    Hello!

My name is Adrian, currently residing in Chicago. Moved here in 2006 from Ukraine where I lived and studied majoring in business. Moving to Chicago, I immediately started taking ESL classes to improve my English and grammar as well started working and making a living. My first job was working for a moving company, where i worked for 3 years after that I transitioned in to trucking transportation industry. Where i started working as a dispatcher handling drivers and booking loads, planning their trips and bringing profit for drivers and company. Been working in that field till today being as a fleet manager in a big trucking company. Realizing that I have no where to grow in that line of work, Ive decided to make a change in my career and thats QA. I have friends working as SQA that are very advanced in their profession and they have been telling me a lot about their work and company and to me it sounds very interesting and something that I definitely will enjoy doing. I am self motivated and work easily under pressure and multitasking is something i enjoy and do on every day basis. My plan is to highly succeed in QA and work in a progressive and successful company where I will be useful and able to grow myself within the company over the years!

My name is Elena. I have a bachelor's degree in philology and journalism. I am from Russia and worked there first on the radio and then as a yoga teacher as it was my hobby. I have lived in the US for 4 years and am currently on maternity leave. I have free time to study and decide what I will do in the future. I have been subscribed to Mikhail Portnov's channel for a long time and know about QA. But I don't know if QA is right for me and I came here to answer this question. I will definitely be working in a stable job in 5 years, but what kind of job I have yet to find out.

Hello, my name is Irina. I was born in Moldova. I have been living in America for 13 years. I have finished a bachelor's degree in education and teaching. My experience in this sphere is 11 years. I decided to change my career because I want to change my life and I want to prove to myself that I can achieve more. Also, I want to show my kids that in the USA they can get things done, regardless of time and age. My husband told me about QA and I am interested in this profession. When I was at school, I really liked the subject of computer class, that's why I decided WHY NOT.

I do not know what will happen after 5 years, but I will try my best and work hard to bring benefit to my employees.

              Thank you for your attention.

My name is Ilona, I am 29 y.o. I’ve immigrated to USA 8 years ago. I’ve got my bachelor’s in Tourism and Marketing at Tbilisi State University.
I’ve been working as a dental assistant for the past 6 years. Unfortunately I no longer see myself growing professionally in a dental field. I’ve been thinking about career change for the past 1,5 years. Few of my friends suggested to look into IT and QA specifically. After doing my research, I’ve ended up on Mikhail Portnov’s youtube channel so I decided to try the free course from Sept 2022. Mikhail is a great teacher with an exceptional explaining skills. Everything he talks about in his classes is pretty clear to me and I learn it pretty easily. I am getting passionate about learning something new on every single class. All of the above mentioned shows me that I am on a right career path. In 5 years I see myself working in automation as it is going to be the next step in my education.
