I have masters degree in Administrative Management. I worked as a Manager in Travel Company and once I moved to Canada I worked as Senior Banking Advisor at one of the largest banks. Over time I started to feel burned out and was looking for changing my career path. I was very open to different career options. I definitely wanted to work in IT, and my friend, who is in Software QA profession suggested me to try it and I realized that it is my opportunity. As of today QA is my long-term career commitment and I want to grow professionally in this field.

I want to change careers because working in IT I can work anywhere in the world.
I think that QA profession will give me an opportunity to work in IT. I have some acquaintances with successful cases.
I think in 5 years I should be leading a group of aspiring testers. I will still be improving my knowledge and skills as well. I will have to write automated cases.

I have a bachelor's degree in metallurgical engineering and a law degree. I have been in sales all my life. I have been working as a realtor for the last 6 years and I make good money. The job of a realtor is not only to deal with clients, but also a monotonous job.
As you know, Russia attacked Ukraine and my work just stopped. A realtor's job is 100% local business. I want to learn the skills of an online profession like QA.
QA is the easiest way to get into the IT world, and if you look at it globally, QA is not that different from being a realtor. You get a request from a client and make sure your work matches the client's request.
After 5 years in IT, I see myself as a team leader at a large international product company.

I have a bachelor degree "Legal support of entrepreneurial activity" and master degree "Accounting and taxation in international business".
I worked during 5 years for accounting position in Ukraine.
Thinking about my future life, after moving to US, I decided that I need a job without reference to location and the ability to work from anywhere in the world. I studied web development (HTML, CSS, JS) for 4 month, it's very interesting but hard.
So, I am really like IT sphere that is why I don't want to give up and want to use my newfound skills in QA.
I believe that I will be succeed, so in 5 years (or sooner) see myself as an automation tester with a good reputation, salary and team.

                I'm Alena Workman.
I have two masters degree: Running couch and Sports management.
I have worked in the sports industry for 20 years. For the last 12 years as the Deputy Director at the Republican Olympic Center. Improved, promote, developing and tested sports in Belarus. Also in the past I was on the Olympic running team in Belarus.
Now I live in US. Here the sports industry is developed on the bases of schools or at the expense of investors, and to get a teacher's license, I need to spend several years.
I think there will always be demand for the QA profession in the market, it does not take years to prepare, I can grow from QA in different direction.
After 5 years I see myself as an effective employee in well-organized company. I have a plan to develop my skills by continuing to benefit in the field of information technology, develop together with company, study, expand my responsibilities.

I studied in high school in a mathematical class, after which I entered the Moscow Aviation Institute for a specialty of computer science. I studied there for a year, then I moved to another city and entered another university for the same specialty. I also had a course at the Russian company Yandex. Also, completed professional practice at the university. In general, I always wanted to work in IT, because this is a very perspective and interesting job, but I always looked for myself in IT and did not fully understand what exactly I should do. QA interested me as it is a great opportunity to start my way in IT and I also really like to check, look for errors and mistakes and I am a rather diligent person. My goal is to reach a fairly professional level in QA, of course learn automated QA, constantly develop and moved on.

My name is Stanislav Pesotskii, I have university's degree in computer science. I have different work experience - I worked as a seller, user support technician and even sports information processing consultant, but my main love it is computers. Now I'm working as a 1st line IT analyst and there's no any chances to develop my skills or to get a promotion, I figured out that working on telephone it's not exactly what I want in my life. I think QA it is a good to start my path and I think my background could help me. I would like to think that in 5 years I will be able to develop my professional skills to a level which allow me to be a good mid/senior QA automation tester.

Hello! My name is Bogdan. I was a student at the university, majoring in industrial management. Due to moving from Russia, I had to finish my studies prematurely.During my studies I worked in banking services.I had to leave my old life behind to start a new one. After learning the definition of the term "Testing" I realized that as a teenager I was testing different games/sites, trying to find vulnerabilities in the directory/code - it gave me a thrill. Now I realized that I could get a job where I was really interested. After 5 years I see myself as someone who contributes to civilized society by continuing to develop as a QA engineer

My name is Oksana. I have Masters's Degree in Economy. I have worked as a CPA accountant for 20 years in Ukraine. Mostly I was the CFO of middle size international enterprises in Ukraine. Unfortunately, I was forced to escape from Ukraine. On the other hand, I always wanted to try to live in the USA. I hope a career in IT helps me to survive here. I was choosing between an accounting and testing job in the USA and I choose IT testing because it is quicker and valid everywhere in the world. Also, I like computers and spent all my life with a lot of different software. I see myself in 5 years as a very successful QA automatic tester.

I have a bachelor's degree in cadastral activities. My work consisted in the prepation of urbun planning documents using professional
programs and services, communication with customers, over the past 15 years. I decided change the type of activity because the
development has stopped, the work has become a chore not yielding the proper income and interest. My previos work was of a technical
nature, which required attentiveness and assiduity, these skills will help me in QA, which gives an opportunity to start developing in
the field of IT. After 5 years, I see myself as a competent tester, who takes on a project with interest, and does his work at a
                              high level with appropriate salary.
