My name is Sasha. I am originally from Ukraine. In 2014 I moved to USA and worked in hospitality and then in tourism industry. Recently I decided that I want to change my career and start from all over.
I was always interesting about technology, since this is our future, but I didn’t know what exactly profession to start in IT. One of my friends, she is working as QA Engineer, she suggested me to look to the QA.
I learned some information about QA. I hope that School of Mikhail Portnov will help me to change my life.

I have worked as a graphic designer and photographer for over 15 years.

I have the ability to organize and structure data to facilitate the perception of information.

A few years ago, I was interested in software testing. I've taken software quality testing courses before.

But found work in a different direction.


Now I chose Portnov School because I want to learn testing in one of the best schools and use this knowledge in the USA.

In 2010 i got my bachelours degree at computer science.
But unfortunetly never had job at this field.
In 2012 my wife won DV lottery so year later we moved to USA. Currently live in Connecticut.

I have a bachelors degree in Business Administration Hospitality Management, obtained from Webber International University. I have 5+ years of retail management experience and currently work as a general manager of a clothing store. Seeking a career change due to retail not being very family friendly and not matching my current needs. I have a degree in Metallurgical Engineering and Marketing. My experience working in Metallurgical companies included studying the requirements of the quality of metallurgical goods for our customers, comparison analysis of prices and delivery terms. That's what prompted me to know marketing concepts and I decided to get an education in Marketing.

As marketing specialist I worked in companies specializing in various types of product distribution. I lead all efforts dealing with understanding and application of industry standards in developed marketing strategies. In addition, I was responsible for improving efficiency in company's processes.

Throughout my work I had multiple opportunities to work closely with user application developers, participate in developing requirements for web applications and performing all user acceptance testing at the end.

When I came to California, I decided to become a QA engineer, because I had experience close to quality assurance testing and I would like to improve my skills. In the next 5 years I plan to become somebody who makes the difference.

Hello, I'm Victoria, and I have a bachelor's degree in Economic Cybernetics since June 2018. In December of the same year, I began my career with a company specializing in HVAC and Commercial Kitchen Equipment services. During this time, our team faced challenges with new software. The process of identifying and reporting software bugs to improve user experiences resonated with me, so I decided to choose this career path. In the next five years, I hope to become an experienced QA Tester and be part of a great QA team.

I heard about this school from my friend who finished this course couple of months ago and he is already working in the industry. Hello, my name is Andrei. I'm from Saint Petersburg, Russia. For the moment, I live in Cupertino. California. I have an Engineering university degree. I've experience working as a USA NGO office manager in Russia. For the last ten years, I worked as a project manager in the HVAC company, doing design and controlling the mounting. I achieved everything I could in this field and I'm at career-changing. When I moved to the USA I saw a great possibility to become a Software tester. In my previous works, I've tested a lot. I've been testing documentation during my work for the NGO, I've been testing designs, systems, and their units while working as an HVAC engineer. I've been testing and exploring everything around me all my life and I'm interested in everything around gadgets and computers. I like to learn new things. I'm sure that my great experience of working with different documentation and engineering systems, and my willingness to work in QA, will help me to become a great tester in a short time.
