  • I have Bachelor of Science in Economy and Informatics from Ukraine. After coming to United States I changed my major and obtained Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I have been working in nursing for many years and now I feel like it is time change and do what I like. I was always a "science-math" person but was "pushed" into healthcare by my family due to its high demand. I feel burned out in doing what I currently do and look forward to change. I want to do QA because I like having a strict structure, following guidelines and fulfilling requirements. In 5 years I see myself working as a lead in a great team in a successful company that will compete with major companies in the world.

    • Hello, my name is Anastasiya Heorhiyeva.
have a high school degree and most of my work experience has been in the fast food industry and self-employment.
I originally was planning on making my main source of income from freelance seamstressing however it was not reliable enough.
I decided to go into QA testing because I've already had previous base experience in operating computer and software systems and so it piqued my interest to get more involved in technological work.
Software testing is an important step in making sure a variety of programs work and operate as indented for the developers and the people who will end up using them and so this field seemed the best fit for me.

      • My name is Inna, and I have a degree in Business and AdIministration. For the past 5 years I worked as an accountant in a Logistics Company which taught me to be more responsible, self motivated ,to have excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload. But I didn't feel I had any more opportunity to grow or further my career in the role, so I decided to look for a change. I have very good communication skills, I'm a quick learner and good team player. Why QA? As I know from my friends who already work in this field, that you never get bored, all the time you have new challenges and if working hard you have possibility to grow on your career. I can definitely say that it's something that I want to do in the future. I want to grow higher in my career, collaborate with new people and discovering many new things! In 5 years I believe I can become a good QA manager.

I have master degree in Economics.
From graduated I had been working on my specialisation until i began closely work with accounting and love it. In my work I couldn't know more about accounting. So I decided to be auditor. At auditors work I deal with a lot of regulation financial and not financial documentation in the technical companies. however i had an offer from another company in new sphere for me. As I wanted to have an experience in an industrial environment I moved to this company. however it was a difficult decision.

                          • Hi, my name is Tetiana.

I got my master's degree in English Language and Literature in Ukraine. Apart from my major, I completed an extra course in English Translation.

After graduation I worked in the Ukraine Sports Federation and a professional sport club as an interpreter/translator. I enjoyed it a lot. But due to my husband's job, which required frequent change of residence, I had to quit. So, I started freelancing as a teacher. Finding and correcting mistakes was my favorite part. However a teaching process itself didn't bring me that much joy.

About a year ago my family and I moved to Silicon Valley, California. I have a lot of friends here working in IT industry. When I found out about QA I realized that it suits me perfectly.I will be able to use my language skills, my analytical and communication skills, and last but not least my craving for finding mistakes and correcting imperfections will be satisfied.

In 5 years I see myself as a reliable and highly professional QA specialist in demand.
